MY ACTIVE NIGHT SERUM (natural night face serum) is mineral oil-free, free of synthetic fragrances, colours and preservatives, gluten-free, lactose-free, GMO-free. Vegan product. The product is Not tested on animals.

And yet:

- it contains vitamin A (in the form of retinyl palmitate). Retinoids are a group of compounds that have been shown to have a beneficial effect on the appearance of the skin. Retinoids such as retinol and retinyl palmitate are converted in the body into vitamin A or retinoic acid, which is required for many different biological processes.

- it contains coenzyme Q10, which is needed to generate energy in cells. It is involved in the formation of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), often known as the 'energy currency of life'. Coenzyme Q10 also acts as an antioxidant and protects cells from oxidative damage. Coenzyme Q10 is abundant in young skin and decreases with ageing.

- it contains rosehip oil, which contains several antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamins E and C, phenolic compounds, phytonutrients, vitamin A precursor and fatty acids. It is generally used in night care as its interesting composition makes it unstable in daylight.

- it contains hemp oil, which is obtained by pressing the seeds of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.). Hemp oil has become a very popular ingredient not only for skin care, but also in cooking. It has an emollient effect and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. It is rich in antioxidants: fatty acids such as gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and vitamins A, C and E.

- it contains other selected natural oils in an exceptionally lubricating and fast-absorbing combination.

- the serum is prepared at room temperature, thus preserving the naturally occurring ingredients in all the selected ingredients.
